When creating engaging content or engaging social media posts try to integrate your brand story into each piece of content you produce. Studies have shown that when a customer can connect with a company’s story, they are more likely to engage with their content, trust the brand and purchase their products and services. Try to create stories that are easy to connect to, expose human weakness and encourage strength. A great place to start to is to write out how your product or service benefits others. Instead of just stating “our product does this”, write out how it transforms your customer’s life. Like a real story, use descriptive language, and make sure it has a beginning, middle and end. Once you have your story retell it in every piece of content you create.

Like any marketing strategy, you are going to need to be monitoring your progress and tweaking your plan based on the results you are getting. Instead of focusing on the number of followers you have on social media, you want to be focusing on your engagement rate. Having 1 million followers means nothing if they are not actually interested in your product and services, or even seeing your content. Instead of trying to get fans, switch your mindset and focus on building a community around your values and mission.

Omnichannel marketing is when a brand shows up and creates content for multiple platforms. Omnichannel marketing can allow a company to connect with its audience in different ways and more frequently. Studies show that it takes 25 interactions with a company before the consumer will purchase from that company. By embracing omnichannel marketing, you are raising your chances of being able to create those 25 interactions.
